Lila Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake. You can find it on the south side of Alta Mountain. This mountain is in Kittitas County, Washington. It's a great spot for outdoor fun!
If you visit, you'll need a special permit. This permit helps protect the Alpine Lake Wilderness area. Many people love coming here for hiking, swimming, and fishing. You might even catch a rainbow trout!
How to Get to Lila Lake
Getting to Lila Lake is an adventure! It's about half a mile north of another lake called Rachel Lake. You can reach Lila Lake by extending your hike from the Rachel Lake Trail #1313.
The trail starts by following Box Canyon Creek. The very beginning of the trail is at Forest Road 4930. This road is near the western shores of Little Kachess Lake. This whole area is about 20 miles east of The Summit at Snoqualmie, which is right off Interstate 90. If you keep going a little further south from Lila Lake, you'll find the Rampart Lakes.
