Lincoln Clay Lewis (born 24 October 1987) is an Australian actor. He is famous for his role as Geoff Campbell in the TV series Home and Away and for starring in the 2010 movie Tomorrow, When the War Began.

Early Life and Family

Lincoln Lewis was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. His father is Wally Lewis, a famous former rugby league football player and sports presenter. Lincoln has an older brother named Mitchell and a younger sister named Jamie-Lee.

He went to St Anthony's Catholic Primary School and later Carmel College. Lincoln has shared that his father and uncle both worked as butchers.

Acting Career

Getting Started

Lincoln started acting when he was just 13 years old. He appeared in several TV shows, including H2O: Just Add Water, The Sleepover Club, and Mortified.

In 2005, he had a small part in the movie Aquamarine. The same year, he starred in an Australian horror movie called Voodoo Lagoon.

Breakthrough with 'Home and Away'

In 2007, Lincoln got his big break when he was cast as Geoff Campbell in the popular soap opera Home and Away. He first appeared on the show in June 2007. This role made him a well-known actor in Australia.

For his work on the show, he won the Most Popular New Male Talent award at the 2008 Logie Awards. In September 2009, Lincoln announced he was leaving Home and Away to try new acting jobs. His last episode aired in February 2010.

Movie Roles and More TV Shows

After leaving Home and Away, Lincoln starred in the action movie Tomorrow, When the War Began. The movie is based on a popular book series about a group of teenagers who fight back when their town is invaded.

In 2010, he also appeared in the TV drama Rescue: Special Ops. He then starred in the movie 33 Postcards with famous actors Guy Pearce and Claudia Karvan. For his performance, he won the "Male Star of Tomorrow" award in 2011.

Lincoln has appeared in many other projects, including:

  • The horror film Bait 3D, about people trapped in a supermarket with sharks after a tsunami.
  • The TV series Underbelly: Razor and SLiDE.

Working in Hollywood and Australia

In 2012, Lincoln landed a role in his first big international movie, After Earth. The science-fiction film starred Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith.

He later returned to Australia and acted in the family drama House Husbands in 2014. In 2015, he was in the World War I mini-series Gallipoli.

Reality TV and Recent Work

Lincoln has also appeared on reality TV shows. In 2009 and 2021, he competed on Dancing with the Stars. In 2017, he was a contestant on Hell's Kitchen Australia. In 2022, he appeared on a Christmas special of Lego Masters Australia.

He is also an ambassador for projects that raise awareness for men's mental health. In 2023, he filmed a romantic comedy called He Loves Me Not.
