Lisa Gabrielle Tucker (born June 13, 1989) is an American singer and actress. She became well-known when she was a finalist on the fifth season of the TV show American Idol. After American Idol, Lisa performed in a big concert tour across the United States. She also recorded a song with famous singer Dionne Warwick. Lisa has appeared on several TV shows like The O.C., Zoey 101, The Game, and The Vampire Diaries. She started her acting career in theater, and at age 11, she played Young Nala in The Lion King musical.

Life and career
Early life and beginnings
Lisa Tucker was born and grew up in Anaheim, California. Her mother, Eleanor, worked in customer service, and her father, Stan, was a lawyer. Lisa started acting and singing when she was a child. She performed with the Orange County Children's Theater. She also sang the national anthem at an Anaheim Angels baseball game. Her theater career began at age 9 in a play called The Little Princess.
When Lisa was 11, she played the role of young Nala in The Lion King musical. She performed for nine months at the Pantages Theatre. The director of The Lion King, Frank Lombardi, said that Lisa's talent was amazing. He even added a special singing part to one of the songs just for her.
At 13, Lisa was a finalist on the TV show Star Search. After that, she released her first album, Please Come Home for Christmas. She finished high school in 2006. She went to John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma, California.
American Idol journey
When Lisa was 16, she tried out for the fifth season of American Idol. She auditioned in Denver, Colorado, singing "One Moment in Time" by Whitney Houston. The judges were very impressed. Simon Cowell said she was the best 16-year-old they had ever seen in the competition. All the judges agreed to send her to the top 24.
America then voted her into the top 12. While on American Idol, she took high school classes with other contestants, Paris Bennett and Kevin Covais. Lisa was eliminated from the show on March 29, 2006. She finished in tenth place.
After American Idol, Lisa joined the American Idols Live! Tour 2006. She sang "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and "Your Song" by Elton John. A review in Entertainment Weekly said her performance was the "most surprising." It also mentioned that she had "the night's strongest showing among the women." She sat at the piano and sang "Your Song" in a calm and heartfelt way.
After American Idol
Lisa Tucker has performed at many events in Orange and Los Angeles counties. She sang the national anthem at games for the Lakers, Clippers, Angels, and Mighty Ducks. She also sang on the city of Anaheim's float in the 118th Tournament of Roses parade. Lisa was invited to tour U.S. Air Force bases in Europe. This was to help promote a summer program for the Air Force.
She made a guest appearance on the TV show The O.C., playing herself in an episode about prom. She also had a recurring role as Lisa Perkins in the third and fourth seasons of Zoey 101. Her first episode was "Michael Loves Lisa," which aired on January 7, 2007.
Lisa also had a recurring role as Pucci Wright in the third season of The Game. Later, she played Greta Martin in three episodes of The Vampire Diaries.
Lisa sang a duet called "Then Came You" with Dionne Warwick. This song was on Warwick's album, My Friends & Me. Lisa also performed as a special guest at the Lord Rhaburn Music Awards Show in Belize.
In July 2020, Lisa released a country-folk song called "Fickle."
