Lisa Gabrielle Tucker (born June 13, 1989) is an American singer and actress. She became well-known after being a top finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Lisa finished in tenth place on the show.
After American Idol, she joined the American Idols Live! Tour 2006. She performed in 60 concerts across the United States. Lisa also recorded a song with the famous singer Dionne Warwick. This song was on Warwick's album, My Friends & Me.
Lisa Tucker has also appeared on TV shows. She was on The O.C., Zoey 101, The Game, and The Vampire Diaries. She started her acting career in theater. At age 11, she played Young Nala in The Lion King musical.

Early Life and Start in Music
Lisa Tucker was born and grew up in Anaheim, California. Her mom, Eleanor, worked in customer service. Her dad, Stan, was an attorney. Lisa started acting and singing when she was a child. She performed with the Orange County Children's Theater. She also sang the national anthem at an Anaheim Angels baseball game. Her theater career began at age 9 in a play called The Little Princess.
When Lisa was 11, she played Young Nala in The Lion King musical. She performed this role for nine months at the Pantages Theatre. The director of The Lion King, Frank Lombardi, praised Lisa's talent. He said her singing was so good that a composer added a special part just for her.
At 13, Lisa was a finalist on Star Search. After that, she released her first album, Please Come Home for Christmas. She finished high school in 2006. She went to John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma, California.

Audition and Journey
Lisa was 16 years old when she tried out for American Idol. She auditioned for the fifth season in Denver, Colorado. She sang One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston. The judges were very impressed. Simon Cowell said she was the best 16-year-old they had ever seen. All the judges agreed to send her to the top 24.
America then voted her into the top 12. While on American Idol, she took high school classes. She studied with other Idol finalists, Paris Bennett and Kevin Covais. Lisa was eliminated from the show on March 29, 2006. She finished in tenth place.

After American Idol
After American Idol, Lisa joined the American Idols Live! Tour 2006. She sang "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and "Your Song" by Elton John. A review in Entertainment Weekly said her performance was very surprising. It called her singing of "Your Song" the strongest among the women.
Music and Performances
Lisa has performed at many events in Orange and Los Angeles counties. She sang the national anthem for Lakers, Clippers, Angels, and Mighty Ducks games. She also sang on the city of Anaheim float in the 118th Tournament of Roses parade. Lisa was invited to tour U.S. Air Force bases in Europe. This was to help promote a summer program.
She sang "Then Came You" with Dionne Warwick. This song was on Warwick's album, My Friends & Me. Lisa also performed as a special guest at the Lord Rhaburn Music Awards Show in Belize. In July 2020, she released a country-folk song called "Fickle."
Acting Roles
Lisa made a guest appearance on The O.C.. She played herself in an episode about a prom. She also had a role on Zoey 101 as Lisa Perkins. Her first episode aired on January 7, 2007. In August 2007, Lisa was on the reality TV show "Dr. 90210." She was a singing teacher for Dr. Rey's children.
She also had a recurring role on The Game. She played Pucci Wright in the third season. Later, she had a recurring role as Greta Martin in The Vampire Diaries.
