North Dakota Veterans Home
The North Dakota Veterans Home was built in Lisbon in 1891. This special place provides a home for military veterans in their retirement years. A large new building is currently being constructed next to the old one.
Scenic Movie Theater
Downtown Lisbon is home to the Scenic movie theater. This theater opened in 1911. It is known for being the oldest movie theater in the United States that has been running continuously. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the theater stayed open. It did this by showing movies outdoors!
