Meet the Galaxy Power Rangers
The Galaxy Power Rangers got their special powers from five ancient swords called the Quasar Sabers. These swords were found on the planet Mirinoi. At the start of the show, the Quasar Sabers were pulled from a stone block, just like the legend of Excalibur. This showed that these young heroes were chosen to wield the weapons. The only exception was Leo Corbett, who received his Saber from his brother Mike.
The Galaxy Power Rangers protected a space colony called Terra Venture. They fought against alien villains like Scorpius, Trakeena, and Deviot. This was the first Power Rangers team that didn't have a direct connection to Earth, except for leaving it in the first episode.
The Lost Galaxy Rangers later appeared briefly in Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
Leo Corbett: The Red Galaxy Ranger
Leo Corbett was a secret passenger on the space colony. He wanted to follow his older brother Mike to find a new world. Leo accidentally saw the Quasar Sabers being discovered. Mike first pulled out the Red Quasar Saber. But he gave it to Leo before seemingly falling to his death. This allowed Leo to become the Red Galaxy Ranger and lead the team.
Leo could be hot-headed and impulsive, fitting his fire element. But he grew a lot during the series. Leo used weapons like the Magna Talon Transdagger and the Red Astro Cycle. He also gained Armor Keys to become the Red Armored Ranger. He piloted the Lion Galactabeast, which turned into the Lion Galactazord. When the Magna Defender died and Mike was freed, Leo thought about giving his powers back to Mike. But Mike told him it was Leo's destiny to be the Red Ranger.
In the final episode, Leo bravely destroyed Trakeena in her insect form. He sacrificed his Battlizer armor to do it. Leo blasted Trakeena up close, destroying his armor and almost himself. Later, Leo became the Red Ranger again to fight Triskull and Trakeena on Earth. He helped the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers defeat them. Leo even showed he could pull his Quasar Saber from the stone, something he hadn't done before.
Leo was also chosen by Tommy Oliver to join nine other Red Rangers. They went to the moon to destroy the Machine Empire in the Power Rangers Wild Force episode Forever Red. Leo pulled his Quasar Saber to regain his powers for this mission. Today, Leo likely lives on Mirinoi, either retired or still protecting the Quasar Sabers as a Ranger. He also returned to help the Megaforce Rangers in their final battle.
Leo is played by Danny Slavin.
Kai Chen: The Blue Galaxy Ranger
Kai Chen is the Blue Galaxy Ranger and the team's second-in-command. He is sensible and likes to follow rules. Kai grew up in a strict military family, so he always did things by the book. Kai used the Cosma Claw Transdagger and the Blue Astro Cycle. He also piloted the Gorilla Galactabeast, which became the Gorilla Galactazord. Kai's strictness often caused arguments with Leo at first. But after the Quasar Sabers were stolen, Kai became much closer to Leo. He later became the new guardian of the Galaxy Book. After Terra Venture arrived on Mirinoi, Kai returned his blue Quasar Saber to its stone. He later used it again to fight Trakeena on Earth. He also joined other Rangers to help the Megaforce team in their final battle.
Kai is played by Archie Kao.

Damon used the Trans-Blaster Transdagger and the Green Astro Cycle. He piloted the Condor Galactabeast, which became the Condor Galactazord. After the Rangers and colonists arrived on Mirinoi, Damon returned his Quasar Saber to its stone. He later drew it again to fight Trakeena on Earth. He also joined the veteran Ranger army to help the Megaforce Rangers.
Damon is played by Reggie Rolle.

Maya is proud to be the Yellow Galaxy Ranger. She believes that as a team, they can defeat her enemies. Her wild spirit and connection to nature help her understand people and communicate with the Lost Galaxy Zords. Maya used the Delta Daggers Transdagger. She piloted the Wolf Galactabeast, which became the Wolf Galactazord. Maya and her teammates later returned the Quasar Sabers to their stones. But they drew them again to fight Trakeena and her allies. They also joined the Megaforce Rangers in their final battle.

Kendrix used the Beta Bow Transdagger. She piloted the Wildcat Galactabeast, which became the Wildcat Galactazord. Kendrix tragically died while saving Terra Venture and Cassie of the Space Power Rangers. Later, when Karone was in danger, Kendrix appeared as a spirit in her Ranger form. Kendrix's spirit rescued her and gave her the Pink Ranger powers.
Karone returned and took the Pink Quasar Saber from Trakeena. She became the new Pink Galaxy Ranger. Karone served with the Rangers to make up for her past as Astronema. She helped save Terra Venture. Karone used the Beta Bow Transdagger. She also piloted the Wildcat Galactabeast, which became the Wildcat Galactazord. Mike Corbett is the older brother of the Red Ranger, Leo Corbett. He was a security officer on Terra Venture and very protective of Leo. During a training exercise, Mike met Maya from Mirinoi. Inside the hole, Mike met the Magna Defender, and their spirits merged.
Mike's spirit influenced the Magna Defender, causing him pain when he did wrong. The Magna Defender later freed Mike by sacrificing himself. Leo wanted to give the Red Quasar Saber back to Mike. But Mike told him that Leo was destined to be the Red Ranger. The original Magna Defender's spirit later returned and gave Mike a morpher. This allowed Mike to become the new Magna Defender. Mike became a loyal ally to the Rangers.
At the end of the show, Terra Venture needed to escape the Lost Galaxy through a closing portal. Mike sacrificed his powers and Zord to hold the portal open. This allowed the space station to pass through. Mike was the first Ranger to reveal his powers to ordinary citizens. Scorpius was an alien insectoid warlord and leader of the Sting-Wingers. He looked like a large spider with tentacles. He was an enemy of the Magna Defender, having killed his son Zika 3,000 years ago. Scorpius often tried to get powerful objects like the Quasar Sabers and the Lights of Orion. These attempts often failed, and the objects ended up with the Power Rangers.
Scorpius had a daughter, Trakeena, whom he loved very much. He didn't want her involved in his evil plans or fighting the Rangers. Trakeena was the only person he was soft on. Scorpius wanted Trakeena to enter a cocoon to become a powerful insect like him. Trakeena refused and ran away. Scorpius then met Deviot and made him his new general. Deviot secretly plotted against Scorpius. Deviot tricked Scorpius into attacking the Rangers, saying Trakeena was their prisoner. Leo fatally wounded Scorpius. Trakeena returned to take his throne before he could pass it to Deviot. Before dying, Scorpius told Deviot to be loyal to Trakeena.
Scorpius is voiced by Kim Strauss.
Trakeena: The Evil Princess
Trakeena is the main villain in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. She is the insectoid daughter of Scorpius. Trakeena was very vain and proud. She once had a monster steal the beauty from all the women on Terra Venture because she thought they might be prettier than her. This plan failed. She also liked to join her father's generals on missions, even though her father didn't approve.
Trakeena learned her father wanted her to enter a cocoon to become a powerful insect like him. She refused because she didn't want to lose her beauty. She fled to the planet Onyx and met Villamax. Villamax trained her to be a warrior. She returned after hearing of Scorpius' defeat. Scorpius gave her his throne and powers before he died. Deviot told her the Red Galaxy Ranger destroyed Scorpius.
Trakeena had a personal grudge against Karone. Trakeena almost defeated Karone, but Kendrix's spirit saved Karone, who then became the new Pink Galaxy Ranger. Deviot later dragged Trakeena into the cocoon, and they merged into one being. This made Trakeena insane. She launched a huge attack on Terra Venture, destroying their last engine. She armed her Sting Wingers with bombs to destroy the colony. Her general Villamax thought this was foolish. Trakeena destroyed her own army but also the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords.
When Villamax refused to obey her order to blast the escape ships, she destroyed him. The Rangers self-destructed the Astro-Megaship, causing Trakeena's ship to crash. Trakeena survived and entered the cocoon again. She emerged as a giant green insect, just as her father intended. She tried to crash the damaged Terra Venture into Mirinoi. Leo seemingly destroyed her with his Battlizer. The Galaxy Megazord, controlled by the Galactabeasts, diverted Terra Venture from crashing.
However, Trakeena survived and returned in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. She was disfigured and sought revenge on Earth. She teamed up with the Demon Triskull. She tried to drain human life force to regain her insect form. The Galaxy Rangers teamed up with the Lightspeed Power Rangers to stop her. Another villain, Olympius, sabotaged her power drain, turning her into a giant monster. The Omega Megazord, powered by the Lights of Orion, finally destroyed Trakeena for good.

Furio: The Cyborg General
Furio was Scorpius' cyborg general. He led a brutal attack on Mirinoi to get the Quasar Sabers. He couldn't pull the sabers from the stone. He fought the six warriors who became the Power Rangers. Enraged, Furio turned Maya's people and everything else on Mirinoi to stone. He created a deep hole that trapped Mike. Furio saw the warriors become Power Rangers and couldn't defeat them.
He later attacked Leo on Terra Venture. Scorpius grew impatient with Furio's failures. Furio allied with Trakeena to find the Lights of Orion. He tricked Leo into believing his brother had returned to get the Lights. When this failed, Scorpius almost destroyed him. Desperate, Furio found what he thought were the Lights of Orion. Leo fought him, and Furio blew himself up with Leo, but Leo was saved by the Magna Defender. Furio was very loyal and ruthless. His actions helped Leo become a stronger Red Ranger. Mirinoi returned to normal when the Rangers returned the Quasar Sabers to the stone.
Furio is voiced by Tom Wyner.

Treacheron was the second general of Scorpius' army. He looked like a samurai with manta ray-like wings and a sword. He was the arch-rival of the Magna Defender. 3,000 years ago, he defeated the Magna Defender and trapped him on Mirinoi for centuries. After Furio's destruction, Treacheron became general.
He was sent to find the Lights of Orion. Trakeena tricked him into taking her to Terra Venture to find the Lights. He lied to Scorpius about it. Later, a shapeshifting monster disguised as Treacheron tricked another monster into absorbing the Lights. Scorpius believed Treacheron betrayed him and locked him up. Treacheron learned Trakeena set him up. He escaped and set a trap for her, but the Rangers stopped him. Leo shattered Treacheron's sword and struck him down. Treacheron was destroyed by Leo's Quasar Saber. Treacheron was later brought back to life by Hexuba but was easily destroyed again by Mike Corbett.

After escaping the Lost Galaxy, Deviot was attacked by Trakeena. They both fell into the cocoon and merged into one being. This being was a mix of Deviot's evil and Trakeena's power, making Trakeena insane. Deviot's physical form was gone after the transformation, but his influence remained. Whatever was left of Deviot was destroyed when Trakeena was finally defeated in Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue.
Deviot is voiced by Bob Papenbrook.
Villamax: The Honorable Warrior
Villamax was a warrior first seen on the planet Onyx with his friend Kegler. He helped Trakeena and agreed to train her as a warrior. When Scorpius was dying, Villamax returned with Trakeena and became one of her generals. Villamax was honorable, which often clashed with Deviot's ruthlessness. He was horrified when Trakeena and Deviot merged and Trakeena became merciless.
Villamax saved a young girl during Trakeena's attack on Terra Venture. He wanted Trakeena to stop her chaos. When he tried to reason with her, she killed him. Villamax's last words to Trakeena were, "You've learned nothing." Villamax's death was later avenged when Trakeena was destroyed.
Villamax is voiced by David Lodge.
Kegler: Villamax's Companion
Kegler was a small, stout being and the longtime friend of Villamax. He wasn't good at fighting but knew a lot about technology. Kegler and Villamax met Trakeena on Onyx and joined her army. Kegler became suspicious of Deviot because he didn't follow Villamax's code of honor. Kegler likely learned about Deviot's treachery. He saw Villamax's death at Trakeena's hands. He was likely destroyed when Trakeena's ship crashed.
Kegler is voiced by Richard Cansino.
Sting-Wingers: The Foot Soldiers
The Sting-Wingers were Scorpius and Trakeena's insectoid foot soldiers. They had sickle arms and could fly. The entire army was destroyed when Trakeena attached bombs to them. They were used in a kamikaze attack to destroy the Centaurus Megazord and the Stratoforce Megazord.
Captain Mutiny's Space Pirates
This was a group of space pirates from the Lost Galaxy. They enslaved passengers from any spacecraft that entered their region. They forced them to mine valuable gems.
Captain Mutiny: The Pirate Leader
Captain Mutiny appeared in the last part of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. He was a pirate captain with pirate ship-themed armor and a hook hand. He led a crew of space pirates in the "Lost Galaxy." Terra Venture encountered them when they were magically transported there. At first, he pretended to be helpful, but he planned to loot Terra Venture and enslave its people. The Galaxy Power Rangers stopped his plan.
When Deviot joined his crew, Mutiny was worried Trakeena would find out. This showed he knew and feared Trakeena. His fear was justified: when he chased Terra Venture into the normal galaxy, Trakeena destroyed his castle, taking him with it.
Captain Mutiny is voiced by Mike Reynolds.
Barbarax: The Viking Strongman
Barbarax was a robotic Viking who served Captain Mutiny. He was the strongman of the crew. He used a powerful battle ax that could send energy through the ground. He was destroyed by Trakeena when she crushed Mutiny's palace.

She was destroyed by the Orion Galaxy Megazord, Defender Torozord, Stratoforce Megazord, and Centaurus Megazord.
Hexuba is voiced by Rajia Baroudi.
Titanisaur: The Colossal Monster
Titanisaur was a huge dinosaur/dragon monster that served Captain Mutiny. It was naturally giant, the same size as a Megazord. It carried Mutiny's castle on its back and could "swim" through space. It was very strong and could tear off Megazord arms. Its weakness was overheating when the castle was attached, so it needed to cool down in water. Mutiny later detached his castle to let Titanisaur fight freely. The Defender Torozord chopped off its tail, weakening it. The Orion Galaxy Megazord then destroyed it.
Swabbies: The Pirate Foot Soldiers
The Swabbies were Captain Mutiny's foot soldiers. They looked like orange pirates wearing shorts, bandannas, and belts. They carried cutlasses as weapons.
