King Edward VIII was the King of the United Kingdom and many other countries in the British Commonwealth. He was also the Emperor of India. He ruled for a short time, from January 20 to December 11, 1936, when he decided to step down from the throne.
During his time as King, Edward worked with eight different prime ministers.
