London Bridge City Pier is a busy pier located on the south side of the River Thames in London, UK. It's very close to the famous London Bridge.
This pier is super important because it's the main stop for the historic City of London area and for City Hall. City Hall is where the London Assembly meets to make decisions about London. From here, you can easily visit cool places like Hay's Galleria (a shopping and eating area), the amazing HMS Belfast warship, the yummy Borough Market, and the super tall building called The Shard.
Boat Services
London Bridge City Pier is a popular stop for the Thames Clippers boats. These are fast catamaran boats that travel along the River Thames. They are used by people going to work, but also by tourists who want to see London from the water!
Boats leave regularly from this pier. You can catch a boat to places like Embankment and the London Eye. They also go further east to Tower Millennium Pier, Canary Wharf, the O2 arena, and even Woolwich Arsenal Pier. It's a fun way to travel and see many famous London sights!
Getting Here
