The Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks are the sports teams that represent the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). They are also known as the ULM Warhawks. ULM has 15 different sports teams, with 6 for men and 9 for women. They compete in NCAA Division I, which is the highest level of college sports. The Warhawks are part of the Sun Belt Conference.

Baseball Team

The ULM baseball team plays their home games at Warhawk Field. The team is coached by Mike Federico. They won the Sun Belt Conference Championship in 2008. In 2012, they won the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament. This win allowed them to play in the NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The ULM Warhawks have won 14 baseball championships in their conference.

Women's Beach Volleyball

The ULM women's beach volleyball team started in 2013. They compete in NCAA Division I beach volleyball. Since 2023, they have been part of the Sun Belt Conference. Before that, they were members of Conference USA from 2021 to 2022.

Football Team

The Warhawks college football team began playing in 1931. They compete in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision. This is the highest level of college football. They play their home games at Malone Stadium on the ULM campus.

The team has sent many players to play professionally. Some players have gone to the National Football League, like Stan Humphries and Bubby Brister. Others have played in the Canadian Football League or the Arena League. In 1987, when they were known as the Indians, ULM won the I-AA National Championship. The 2012 season was their first winning season since joining the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Men's Basketball Team

The men's and women's basketball teams play their home games at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. This arena opened in 1971 and can hold 7,000 fans. The biggest crowd for a men's basketball game was 8,044 people. This happened on January 25, 1979, when the Northeast Louisiana Indians played the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The ULM Warhawks men's basketball team has won 19 conference championships.

Women's Basketball Team

The largest crowd for a women's basketball game at Fant-Ewing Coliseum was 8,155 fans. This was on February 11, 1985, when the Northeast Louisiana Lady Indians played the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters. The ULM Warhawks women's basketball team has won five conference championships.

Cross Country Teams

The ULM Warhawks have strong cross country teams. The men's team has won five conference championships. The women's team has won two conference championships.

Golf Team

The ULM Warhawks men's golf team has won two conference championships.

Softball Team

The ULM Warhawks softball team has won two conference championships.

Women's Tennis Team

The ULM Warhawks women's tennis team has won nine conference championships.

Track and Field Teams

The ULM Warhawks have successful track and field teams. The men's outdoor track and field team has won nine conference championships. The women's outdoor track and field team has won four conference championships.

Water Skiing

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Water Ski Team is very successful. Since college water ski competitions started in 1979, they have been a top team. They have won 29 National Championship titles!

Warhawks Sports Radio Network

The ULM Warhawks have their own radio network called the Warhawk Sports Radio Network. It started in 2007. This network lets fans listen to live sports games on the radio in Northeast Louisiana. Three radio stations in Monroe broadcast the games: KLIP, KMLB, and KRJO.
