Maile Flanagan (born May 19, 1965) is a talented American actress and comedian. She is most famous for being the voice of Naruto Uzumaki in the English version of the popular Naruto animated series and movies.
Maile has also voiced other well-known characters, like Piggley Winks in Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks. For this role, she won an Emmy Award! You might also recognize her from the live-action TV show Lab Rats, where she played Principal Terry Perry.
She has appeared in many movies, including Phone Booth (2002) and 500 Days of Summer (2009). Maile has also been a guest star on several TV shows such as ER, The Office, and Grey's Anatomy. More recently, she has been a recurring character on the ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet and voices Matthew "Matt" Hornsby in the animated show Royal Crackers.

Maile Flanagan's Early Life
Maile Flanagan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father worked for the U.S. military. Because of his job, her family moved around a lot. In 1969, they lived in Bangkok, Thailand. When she was ten, they moved to Germany.
She finished high school in Munich, Germany, in 1983. Later, in 1987, Maile graduated from Boston College. She studied political science, history, and mathematics there.
Maile Flanagan's Career Journey
After a short time working in Washington, D.C., Maile moved to Minneapolis. There, she started performing in theater and doing stand-up comedy. She was part of a comedy group called Every Mother's Nightmare.
In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles with a play called The Bad Seed. This play won an award for Best Comedy Ensemble.
Voice Acting Success
Maile's first big voice acting role was as Piggley Winks in Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks. She was nominated for an Annie Award for this role in 2005. The next year, in 2006, she won an Emmy Award for her amazing voice work in the show.
Then, she got the role that made her famous: Naruto Uzumaki! She voices Naruto in the English version of the Naruto series. She has continued to voice Naruto as a kid, a teenager, and an adult in all the Naruto shows and video games.

In 2009, Maile voiced Mother Aardvark in the third Ice Age movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. She also appeared in the movie 500 Days of Summer that year. In 2010, she voiced Orangu-Tammy in the animated film Kung-Fu Magoo.
Live-Action Roles
From 2012 to 2016, Maile starred as Terry Perry in the Disney XD show Lab Rats. She played the principal of Mission Creek High School for four seasons. She even played the role again in the spin-off series Lab Rats: Elite Force in 2016.
She also had a recurring role as Connie in the TV series Shameless from 2013 to 2014. In February 2023, Maile appeared as Tina in the ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet. This show is based on a book called Confessions of a Forty-Something ... Up. She also started voicing Matt Hornsby in Royal Crackers in April 2023.
