Malan Breton (born in 1973) is a famous Taiwanese-born fashion designer. He is also known for many other cool jobs! He directs films and music videos. He writes for magazines, designs costumes, and makes popular music. Malan is also a TV and film producer, and even an actor.
He started his own fashion brand, "Malan Breton," in 2005. Later, he added "Malan Breton Homme" for men's clothes in 2010. In 2012, he launched "Fantôme Malan Breton." In 2020, Malan released his first song, "Somethin' Stupid," with a Japanese pop band called Emergency Tiara. He also does a lot of good work helping people in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Early Life and Dreams
Malan Breton was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He started designing clothes when he was just eleven years old. Even as a kid, he was already performing in the entertainment world. Malan never went to a special design school. He taught himself everything he knows about fashion!
Malan's Amazing Career Journey
In 1996, Malan moved to New York City. He wanted to be a model for the New York Fashion Week shows. Famous photographers like Herb Ritts and directors like Hype Williams featured him. This helped him get started in fashion as a stylist. He learned a lot from fashion experts like Arnold Scaasi.
In 2005, a big fashion magazine called WWD named Malan one of the top new designers to watch. One of his first TV appearances was on Project Runway in 2006. He was the second person to leave the show, but it was still a big step!
TV Appearances and Voice Work
Malan was on E! Television Fashion Emergency in 1998. This was when he was acting in the Broadway musical Cabaret. From 1999 to 2005, he was the voice for ESPN Extreme Sports and ABC Sports commercials.
In 2007, Malan opened his first "Malan Breton" store in New York City. He added accessories in 2008 and a menswear line in 2010. He also appeared on Australia's Next Top Model in 2008. MTV News featured him for his designs at New York Fashion Week. In 2010 and 2011, Malan designed costumes for the NBC game show Minute to Win It.
New Adventures and Digital Fashion
In 2015, Malan acted with Celeste Holm in a comedy movie called College Debts. In 2016, he became an Ambassador for Tourism to Taiwan. This means he helps people learn about and visit Taiwan. In 2017, he appeared on Good Day New York on FOX TV. He also helped launch a new digital fashion experience using blockchain technology.
In 2020, Malan held his first 3D online fashion show. It featured models created by computers! He also released more music. In December 2020, he sang a charity song called "I'll Be Home for Christmas" with Consuelo Costin.
