María Teresa de Borbón y Vallabriga (born March 6, 1779 – died November 23, 1828) was an important Spanish noblewoman. She held the title of the 15th Countess of Chinchón. She was also a Grandee of Spain, which was a very high noble rank. Her grandfather was Philip V of Spain, a former king of Spain.

Early Life and Family
María Teresa Carolina de Borbón y Vallabriga was born in Velada, a town in Toledo, Spain. Her birthday was March 6, 1779. She was the older daughter of Infante Luis of Spain. Her mother was María Teresa de Vallabriga. Her father was the 13th Count of Chinchón. He also held the title of a Grandee of Spain First Class.
Noble Titles and Honors
María Teresa received many important titles during her life. On August 4, 1799, she became the 1st Marquesa of Boadilla del Monte. She was also made the 96th Noble Dame of the Royal Order of Queen Maria Luisa on October 10, 1800. This was a special honor for noblewomen. Her younger sister, María Luisa, and her mother also received this honor.
Later, she inherited more titles from her brother, Luis María. She became the 15th Countess of Chinchón on March 7, 1804. She also became the 1st Duchess of Sueca on the same day. Both of these were Grandee of Spain titles, showing her high status.
Marriage and Family Life
María Teresa married Don Manuel de Godoy y Álvarez de Faria. He was a very powerful figure in Spain at the time. Their wedding took place in the Escorial, near Madrid, on October 2, 1797.
Her Daughter
María Teresa and Manuel Godoy had one daughter together. Her name was Carlota Luisa Manuela.
Later Life
María Teresa and Manuel Godoy divorced in 1808. She passed away in Paris, France, on November 23, 1828.
