Marc Bernardin (born November 29, 1971) is an American writer who creates stories for television, comic books, and magazines. He is also a journalist and a popular podcaster.

He has worked as a film editor for the Los Angeles Times newspaper and as a senior editor for famous magazines like The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly. He has also written articles for many other magazines, including Wired and Empire.

As a TV writer, he has helped create exciting shows like Castle Rock, Treadstone, and Carnival Row. He was also a supervising producer for the science fiction series Star Trek: Picard.

A Career in Storytelling

Marc Bernardin has built a career telling stories in many different ways, from writing for magazines to creating worlds for television and comic books.

From Journalism to TV Writing

Bernardin started his career working with words. He even had an internship on the TV show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine when he was younger. He later became a writer and editor for major entertainment publications.

His skills in storytelling led him to television. He was a staff writer for the Syfy channel's show Alphas. He also wrote for Castle Rock, a series on Hulu based on the spooky stories of Stephen King. Marc Bernardin also shares his love for movies and comics through podcasting. He co-hosts a podcast called Fatman Beyond with director Kevin Smith. He also hosts another podcast, The Battlestar Galacticast, with actress Tricia Helfer, where they discuss the science fiction show Battlestar Galactica.

In 2024, Bernardin began working with the famous author Neil Gaiman. They planned to turn Gaiman's novel Anansi Boys into a comic book series. However, the project was cancelled after seven issues were released.
