Marcelo Mabilia, often called Mabilia, is a Brazilian football coach and a former player. He was born on October 31, 1972, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. During his playing days, he was known as a forward, which means he played in an attacking position, trying to score goals for his team.

Marcelo Mabilia's Playing Career

Marcelo Mabilia played for many different football clubs throughout his career. He started playing professionally in 1991. Some of the well-known teams he played for include Grêmio and Internacional, both big clubs in Brazil.

Playing in Japan

In 1997, Mabilia had the chance to play football in Japan. He joined a team called Júbilo Iwata. Playing in a different country was a new experience for him. He helped Júbilo Iwata win an important championship that year.

Returning to Brazil

After his time in Japan, Mabilia came back to Brazil. He continued to play for various clubs, including Juventude. With Juventude, he achieved another big success, winning a major cup competition. He played until 2004 before becoming a coach.
