Marcos Llorente Moreno (born January 30, 1995) is a Spanish professional football player. He plays as a midfielder or right-back for the La Liga club Atlético Madrid. He also plays for the Spanish national team.
Marcos grew up playing football at Real Madrid. He played in 39 games for them over three seasons. He also spent time on loan at Alavés. In June 2019, he joined Atlético Madrid. There, he helped his team win the 2020–21 La Liga title. He played in many different positions for them.
Llorente first played for the Spanish national team in 2020. He was part of the teams that played in UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Starting at Real Madrid
Marcos Llorente was born in Madrid, Spain. He joined Real Madrid's youth academy in 2008 when he was 13 years old. In July 2014, he moved straight to the reserve team, Real Madrid B. This happened after he played very well for the youth squad.
On August 24, 2014, Llorente played his first senior game. He started in a 2–1 loss against Atlético Madrid B. He played in 25 matches during the 2014–15 season.
Llorente trained with the first team in the summer of 2015. He played in friendly games against teams like Manchester City. On October 17, 2015, he made his first professional game appearance. He came on as a substitute in a 3–0 win against Levante.
On August 10, 2016, Llorente was loaned to Alavés for one season. On September 10, he played the whole game in a 2–1 win against Barcelona.
