Marcus Beach is a coastal suburb in the Shire of Noosa, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Marcus Beach had a population of 757 people.
History
Some sources claim Marcus Beach was named after the property developer, Marcus Burke. However, it is claimed by locals of the area that Marcus Beach was actually named after Henry Marcus (the great grandfather of noted Australian-based architect Sophia Marcus).
