Marion Renate Reimers Tusche (born on August 2, 1985) is a Mexican sports journalist, analyst, and TV host. She works for TNT Sports Mexico. She is well-known for her time at Fox Sports Mexico and Fox Deportes. There, she hosted the nightly sports news show Central Fox from 2008 to 2021. She also helped start and leads a group called Versus, which is a non-profit organization.

Early Life and Education
Marion Renate Reimers Tusche was born in Mexico City on August 2, 1985. Her family has German roots. She started playing sports like swimming, tennis, football, and athletics when she was four years old. She even became a national champion in karate.
She first studied art history and photography in Florence, Italy. Later, she decided to study communications at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). She finished her studies there in 2010. In 2014, Marion earned a master's degree in journalism from the Torcuato di Tella University in Argentina.
Career in Sports Journalism
Starting Out in Sports News
Marion Reimers began her career in 2006 as an editor for Fox Sports Latin America. In 2007, she started working on TV as a reporter. Soon after, she became the weekend host for Diario Fox Sports. By 2008, she was the main host of Central Fox, a sports news show. This show was seen in Latin America on Fox Sports and in the United States on Fox Deportes.
Covering Big Sporting Events
Marion has covered many major sports events. These include the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016. She also reported on the FIFA World Cup in 2010, 2014, and 2018. She covered the UEFA Champions League finals in 2015, 2016, and 2019. She also reported on the Copa Libertadores.
Becoming a Football Commentator
In July 2017, Marion started commentating on Liga MX Femenil (women's football league) matches for Fox Sports Dos in Mexico. She worked as a match analyst, explaining the game. By July 2019, she became the main play-by-play commentator. This means she describes the action as it happens during the game.
In May and June 2020, Marion also commentated on four German Bundesliga men's matches. These were shown on Fox Sports Mexico and Fox Sports Central America. She was one of the first women to do this for men's professional football in the region.
When she starts a football match broadcast, Marion often uses her special phrase: "Con el privilegio de estar siempre cerca del balón." This means "With the privilege of always being close to the ball."
Making History in Champions League
On June 1, 2019, Marion Reimers made history. She became the first Hispanic woman to broadcast the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final. She worked as a match analyst for Fox Sports Mexico and Fox Sports Central America.
Moving to TNT Sports
On August 4, 2021, Marion announced she was leaving Fox Sports Mexico and Fox Deportes. She had worked there for fifteen years. She then joined TNT Sports Mexico. There, she continues to broadcast men's UEFA Champions League matches and finals.

Teaching and Business
Marion Reimers is also a professor of journalism. She teaches at the Mexico City campus of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. In May 2021, Marion and her former partner Leonora Milán joined a group of investors. They invested in the National Women's Soccer League team, Washington Spirit.
Helping Others in Sports
Marion is a feminist. In 2017, she helped create Versus. This group works to raise awareness and fight against unfair treatment in sports journalism. This includes unfairness based on gender, race, or social class. Marion is also the president of Versus. The group launched with a video that showed how women in sports journalism sometimes receive mean or unfair comments.
On October 21, 2021, the United Nations Organization for Women named Marion Reimers a "goodwill ambassador." This means she helps promote their goals.
Writing Books
Marion has also written for newspapers like La Nación and The New York Times. Her first book, called ¡Juega como niña! (Play like a Girl!), was published on April 16, 2021.
Personal Life
Marion Reimers moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2012. This was part of a work exchange while she was studying for her master's degree. She speaks Spanish, English, German, and Italian very well. For fun, she enjoys reading, photography, and music.
Awards and Recognition
In 2008, Marion Reimers received the Medal of Merit in Communications and Journalism in Mexico. In 2012, she won the "Female Revelation in Sports Journalism" award in Buenos Aires.
In 2015, Marion became the first Mexican woman to be nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the United States. She was nominated for being an outstanding on-air sports personality in Spanish.
