Michael Lockley grew up in Orlando, Florida. He attended Olympia High School. There, he was a talented athlete. He earned special recognition in football, weightlifting, and track and field.

During his high school football career, Michael made 110 tackles. He also blocked seven kicks, which is a great achievement. In his senior year, he received "All-Orange County" and "All-District" honors. He was even named Olympia High School's "Athlete of the Year." Michael also played in the East-West Metro Senior All-Star Game.
College Football Career
After high school, Michael Lockley played college football for the Florida Atlantic Owls. He played for four years.
College Statistics and Honors
Michael finished his college career with impressive numbers. He recorded 234 total tackles. He also had 13.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He forced three fumbles and blocked four field goal attempts. In his senior year, he was chosen for the All-Sun Belt second-team.

Time with the Jacksonville Jaguars
On July 26, 2011, Michael signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was later fined for a hit during a preseason game. On September 3, 2011, the Jaguars released him. However, he was quickly signed to their practice squad the next day.
Michael was promoted to the Jaguars' main team on November 8, 2011. He made his NFL debut on November 13, 2011. He played on special teams against the Indianapolis Colts. Michael played in seven games for the Jaguars before being released on December 27, 2011.
Playing in the CFL with Montreal
