Michel Maurice Daniel Denisot (born April 16, 1945) is a well-known French journalist and television personality. He has worked as a TV producer and host for many years. Michel Denisot also served as a leader for two football clubs, LB Châteauroux and Paris Saint-Germain.

Starting His Career
Michel Denisot began his career very early, at just 15 years old. He started as a local reporter in Châteauroux, writing for newspapers. In 1968, he began working for a regional radio and TV station called ORTF in Limoges. He then worked for other stations in cities like Poitiers, Bordeaux, and Reims.
In 1969, he joined the team of a popular game show called Le Schmilblic. This show was created and hosted by Guy Lux.
Becoming a TV Journalist
In 1972, Michel Denisot moved from Berry to Paris. He joined the first TV channel of ORTF, which later became TF1. At first, he helped out by getting coffee for famous journalists like Jean Lanzi.
In 1973, he worked for the third ORTF channel, which is now France 3. He later returned to TF1 in 1975. There, he co-hosted the Journal télévisé de 13 heures, a daily news program, for about two and a half years.
In 1977, he joined the sports department at TF1. From 1981, he hosted Téléfoot, a football show, with Thierry Roland. He also became a commentator for football games.
Leading Football Clubs
Michel Denisot also had an important role in the world of football. In 1988, he became the president of the football club LB Châteauroux. He held this position until 1991.
After that, he became the president of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). During his time as president, PSG achieved great success. They won a Division 1 title, which is the top French football league. They also won three Coupe de France titles and two Coupe de la Ligue titles. PSG also won the Trophée des Champions and, most notably, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. This was the club's first major European trophy. Michel Denisot left PSG in 1998.
From 2004 to 2008, he returned to lead LB Châteauroux once more. In March 2021, he came back to Châteauroux again after the club was sold to Abdullah Bin Mosaad Al Saud. He officially retired from this role in April 2023.
Awards and Recognition
In November 1998, Michel Denisot was honored with a special award. He became a Knight of the Legion of Honour. This is a very high award given by the French government. He received it for his important work and achievements with the Paris Saint-Germain football club.
