Michel Denisot (born 16 April 1945) is a well-known French journalist, TV producer, and host. He also used to be a leader in the world of football. He was the president of two football clubs: LB Châteauroux and Paris Saint-Germain.

Starting His Career
Michel Denisot began his journey in journalism very early. When he was just 15 years old, he started working as a reporter for local newspapers in Châteauroux, France.
In 1968, he joined a regional TV station called ORTF in Limoges. He then worked for other stations in cities like Poitiers, Bordeaux, and Reims.
In 1969, he even worked on a popular game show called Le Schmilblic.
Becoming a Journalist at TF1
In 1972, Michel Denisot moved to Paris. He started working for the main TV channel of ORTF, which later became TF1. He began by helping out, even getting coffee for famous journalists like Jean Lanzi and Jean-Pierre Elkabbach.
In 1973, he worked for another channel, which is now France 3. But he soon returned to TF1 in 1975. There, he helped host the 1 PM news show, Journal télévisé de 13 heures, for about two and a half years.
In 1977, he joined the sports team at TF1. From 1981, he hosted Téléfoot with Thierry Roland. He also became a commentator for football games.
Leading Football Clubs
Michel Denisot also had a big role in French football. In 1988, he became the president of the football club LB Châteauroux. He stayed in this role until 1991.
Then, he became the president of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), one of France's biggest football clubs. During his time as president, PSG won many important titles:
- One Division 1 title (the top French league)
- Three Coupe de France titles (a major cup competition)
- Two Coupe de la Ligue titles (another cup competition)
- One Trophée des Champions (a super cup)
- A UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (a big European trophy)
The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was PSG's first European trophy, which was a huge achievement! Michel Denisot left PSG in 1998.
From 2004 to 2008, he returned to lead LB Châteauroux again. In March 2021, he came back to Châteauroux once more after the club was sold to Abdullah Bin Mosaad Al Saud. He retired from this role in April 2023.
Awards and Recognition
In November 1998, Michel Denisot was honored with the title of Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur. This is a very high award in France, given for his important work with the Paris Saint-Germain football club.
