Michelle Ang (born on October 17, 1983) is an actress from New Zealand. She is well-known for playing Lori Lee in the Australian TV show Neighbours. She also voices Omega, a clone of Jango Fett, in the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Early Life and School
Michelle Ang was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her family is from Malaysia and China. When she was younger, Michelle was a ballet dancer. She performed in famous ballets like The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet. She danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
Later, she went to Victoria University of Wellington. She earned two university degrees there. One was in business, focusing on accounting and commercial law. The other was a science degree in chemistry.
Acting Career
Starting on TV
Michelle Ang started acting on TV when she was young. Her first show was a family series called Young Entertainers. On this show, she could show off her singing and dancing skills.
From 1999 to 2001, she played Tai-San in the New Zealand drama The Tribe. This show was about a world after a big disaster. She also appeared in the last two episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess as Akemi.
Popular TV Roles
Michelle became a main character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She played Lori Lee from 2002 to 2003. She left the show to finish her university studies but came back for a short time in 2004. For her role in Neighbours, she was nominated for a Logie Award as a popular new female talent.
She also played Tracy Hong in the first two seasons of the New Zealand TV series Outrageous Fortune in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, Michelle appeared in the American TV drama South of Nowhere.
In 2012, she was in the MTV series Underemployed. She played an aspiring writer who had to work at a donut shop.
Recent TV Work
In 2015, Michelle starred in the web series Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462. She played Alex, a passenger on a flight during the start of a zombie apocalypse. She then appeared in the main show, Fear the Walking Dead. Michelle was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work on Flight 462. In 2020, she had a role in The New Legends of Monkey.
In 2021, Michelle Ang became the voice of Omega in the Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Omega is a mysterious female clone of Jango Fett. Michelle was asked to use her natural New Zealand accent for the role. This was a tribute to Temuera Morrison, another New Zealander who played Jango Fett in the Star Wars movies.
In 2023, she played Melissa Wu in a show called Homebound 3.0.
Film Roles
Michelle Ang first appeared in a movie in 2004, called Futile Attraction. She also acted in several short films made in New Zealand. In 2006, she was in the movie No.2.
In 2011, Michelle played a main role in the romantic comedy My Wedding and Other Secrets. She played a smart Chinese New Zealander.
