Miguel Molina González (born on February 17, 1989) is a professional racing driver from Spain. He is known for competing in different types of car races. Currently, he races in the FIA World Endurance Championship and other special GT races for the AF Corse team. Miguel was also part of the Circuit de Catalunya Young Drivers Programme, which helps young talents in racing.

Miguel Molina's Racing Journey
Starting in Karting
Like many famous racing drivers, Miguel Molina began his career in karting. This is where young drivers learn the basics of racing. He won the Spanish Cadet Championships two years in a row, in 1999 and 2000. He also won the Catalan Junior Championship in 2001 and the Spanish Junior Championship in 2003. These early wins showed his talent and passion for speed.
Early Steps in Single-Seaters
In 2004, Miguel moved into single-seater racing. These cars are open at the top and have wheels outside the main body. He competed in the Spanish Formula Junior 1600 series and finished 6th overall. The next year, he joined the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship. In 2006, he raced in the Spanish Formula Three Championship, where he won one race and got on the podium five other times.
Racing in Formula Renault 3.5 Series
Later in 2006, Miguel joined the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. He raced in the last six events of the season. In 2007, he raced full-time in this series with Pons Racing. He won two races, one in Estoril and another in Barcelona. He also achieved two more podium finishes, ending the season in 7th place.
In 2008, he continued in the championship with Prema Powerteam. He had a great year, earning four podium finishes. This included two more race wins at the Nürburgring and Estoril. He finished 4th in the championship that year. For the 2009 season, Miguel joined Ultimate Motorsport. Even though his team pulled out of the last two races, he still managed to finish 8th in the championship.
Superleague Formula Experience
In June 2009, Miguel Molina also tried out the Superleague Formula series. This unique series featured cars representing different football clubs. He took part in the first round of the season for the Al Ain team. He finished 9th in the first race and 4th in the second race.
Competing in DTM
In 2010, Miguel switched from single-seater cars to touring cars. He joined the Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline in the DTM series. This is a popular German touring car championship. He raced an Audi A4 car from 2008.
Winning at Le Mans in WEC
In 2024, Miguel Molina achieved a huge victory. He, along with his teammates Nicklas Nielsen and Antonio Fuoco, won the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race. They were part of the number 50 Ferrari AF Corse team in the Hypercar category. This is one of the most important endurance races in the world.
