Moacyr Claudino Pinto da Silva (born 18 May 1936) is a famous Brazilian former football player. He was known by his nickname Moacir or Moacyr. He played as a midfielder, helping his team control the middle of the field. He also played as a forward, scoring goals for his team. Moacir was born in São Paulo, Brazil.

Moacir's Early Life and Start in Football

Moacir's father worked on the railway. When Moacir was young, he lived for over ten years in a special home for children in Osasco. This was before he started his football journey.

A friend suggested he try out for CR Flamengo, a big football club. Moacir joined their youth teams. He even lived in the club's dorms, which helped him focus on his training. Today, Moacir lives in Guayaquil City, where he raised his family.

Playing for Clubs Around the World

After playing for the junior teams, Moacir showed great talent. He was chosen to join the main team of CR Flamengo. This was a big step in his career.

Over the years, Moacir played for several important clubs. He played for Flamengo in Brazil. He also played for River Plate in Argentina. Later, he joined Peñarol in Uruguay. Moacir then moved to Ecuador, where he played for Everest and Barcelona.
