Where is Modesto Located?
Modesto is found in the northern part of Macoupin County. You can find its exact spot using these coordinates: 39.476855 degrees North and -89.982813 degrees West.
Illinois Route 111 is a main road that goes right through the village. It's called Main Street in Modesto. If you travel north on this road for about 8 miles (13 km), you will reach Waverly. If you go south for about 3 miles (5 km), you will get to Palmyra. Carlinville, which is the main town for Macoupin County (called the county seat), is about 19 miles (31 km) to the southeast.
