Monica Iozzi de Castro (born November 2, 1981) is a talented Brazilian actress and reporter. She became well-known for her work as a reporter on the TV show CQC on the Band network.

Monica Iozzi's Journey in Entertainment
Monica Iozzi studied Performing Arts at Unicamp and finished in 2005. She started her acting career in theater with the company Os Satyros.
Becoming a TV Reporter
In 2009, Monica joined a competition to become a reporter for the popular show CQC. She won the spot, beating about 5,000 other people! She worked on CQC for more than four years. In January 2014, she decided to leave the show. She wanted to go back to acting.
Moving to Rede Globo
After leaving CQC, Monica signed a contract with Rede Globo, a big TV network in Brazil. Her first job there was as a commentator for Big Brother Brasil 14. She appeared on the show every Tuesday, starting on January 21, 2014.
In February 2014, Monica was chosen to comment on the Oscar ceremony for Globo. She worked alongside actress and presenter Fernanda Lima. Later that year, she joined the cast of the soap opera Alto Astral. She played a character named Scarlett, who first appeared in January 2015.
Hosting Vídeo Show
On April 6, 2015, Monica started a new role as a presenter for the TV show Vídeo Show. She hosted the show with Otaviano Costa. Her last day on Vídeo Show was February 12, 2016. She left the show to focus more on her acting career.
