Mont Orignal is a fantastic winter resort found near Lac Etchemin. It offers a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy. You can try alpine skiing, which is skiing down hills, or cross-country skiing, where you glide across flatter trails. There are 54 kilometers of trails for cross-country skiing! Stay and Play: Cozy Cottages at Mont Orignal

Fast Lifts and Big Snowparks: What Makes Mont Orignal Special

Mont Orignal is unique because it's the only resort in Quebec that uses a special high-speed six-pack chairlift. This lift can carry six people at once and moves very quickly to get you to the top of the mountain.

The resort also has the largest snowpark in the entire province of Quebec. A snowpark is a special area with jumps, rails, and other features for skiers and snowboarders to do tricks. Many cool competitions have been held here, like the Jib Academy, which is a competition for teens under 16 years old.

Getting There: The Ski-Bus Service

To make it easy for visitors to reach the mountain, Mont Orignal offers a shuttle service called the "Ski-Bus du Mont-Orignal." This bus connects many towns on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River directly to the resort.
