Morgan is a city in Calhoun County, Georgia, United States. It is the main town, also known as the county seat, of Calhoun County. In 2020, about 1,741 people lived in Morgan.

History of Morgan, Georgia
Morgan was started in 1854. It became the main town for the newly formed Calhoun County. The city officially became a city in 1856. Morgan got its name from Hiram Morgan, who was an important official in the county.
Between 1923 and 1929, another city called Arlington, Georgia briefly took over as the county seat. This change happened after people voted on it. But after another vote, Morgan became the county seat again.

Morgan is located in the middle of Calhoun County. Its exact spot is 31.538877 degrees North and 84.601034 degrees West. The city is about 30 miles (48 km) west of Albany. It is also about 26 miles (42 km) northeast of Blakely.
