You can find it right on U.S. Route 27. It is located almost exactly halfway between two bigger cities: Columbus and Tallahassee, Florida.

History of Blakely

Blakely was planned out in 1825. It was chosen to be the county seat for Early County. The city was named after Johnston Blakeley. He was an important officer during the War of 1812.
