The Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour was a fun cartoon show that aired from 1982 to 1983. It brought together animated versions of popular characters from three live-action TV shows: Mork & Mindy, Laverne & Shirley, and Happy Days. This show was made by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Ruby-Spears Enterprises. It only lasted for one season on the ABC network.
The show was split into two main parts. One part was about Mork & Mindy, and the other was called Laverne & Shirley with the Fonz. The Laverne & Shirley part was actually the second season of an earlier cartoon called Laverne & Shirley in the Army. The big change was that The Fonz and his dog, Mr. Cool, from The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, joined the fun!

Mork & Mindy Adventures
In the Mork & Mindy part of the show, a teenage Mork is sent from his home planet, Ork, to Earth. His mission is to learn about human teenagers and go to a local school. Just like in the original live-action show, Mindy McConnell and her dad, Fred, are the only humans who know Mork is an alien. Mork sends special mind-reports about his experiences back to his Orkan ruler, Orson.
New Characters and Friends
This cartoon version added a new character: Mork's pet! It was a pink, six-legged, dog-like creature from Ork named Doing (pronounced "Doyng"). Mork also made friends at school, like Eugene and Hamilton. The school principal, Principal Caruthers, was also a character.
