Morristown is a small community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a place with people living there, but it doesn't have its own city government. It's also a census-designated place (CDP), which is an area the government uses for counting people in a census.
Morristown is about 43 miles (69 km) northwest of Phoenix. You can find it where two important roads meet: State Route 74 and U.S. Route 60. In 2020, about 186 people lived there.
Morristown is home to the Morristown Elementary School District. A special building called the Morristown Store, which used to be the Morristown Hotel, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's an important historical site.
The community is named after Morristown, New Jersey. A fun fact about Morristown is that it was the birthplace and also where the famous Internet cat, Grumpy Cat, lived and passed away. The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department also has an office here.
