Mount Galatea is a really tall mountain in the Canadian Rockies. It is the highest point in the Kananaskis Range. This mountain is found in the beautiful Kananaskis Country in Alberta, Canada. It stands proudly in the upper Spray Lakes Valley.
The mountain got its name from a ship! It was named after a Royal Navy ship called HMS Galatea. This ship was a type of warship known as a cruiser.
