Mount Weddell is located in a specific spot on the island. It is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) northeast of a place called Race Point. It's also 9.8 kilometers (6.1 miles) east of Pillar Bluff. The mountain is quite close to the main settlement, being only 4.35 kilometers (2.7 miles) southwest of Weddell Settlement. It's also 4.6 kilometers (2.9 miles) west-northwest of Circum Point.
