Ms. International is a special beauty pageant for women aged 26 and older. It's part of the Ms. America Pageant system. This contest celebrates women's achievements and encourages them to use their "Crown for a Purpose." This means they use their title to help others and support volunteer work.

History of Ms. International

How the Pageant Started

The Ms. International Pageant began in 2010. Susan Jeske is the founder of this event. She first used the title when Amanda Delgado became the very first Ms. International in 2010.

Past Winners and Their Stories

  • Deana Molle was crowned Ms. International for 2011–12. Her crowning took place on November 7, 2011, in Riverside, California.
  • Stacy Smith from Colorado won the title of Ms. International 2013. She was crowned on June 23, 2013, in Costa Mesa, California.
  • Riti Chikkerur from Texas became Ms. International 2014–15. She won on August 9, 2014, in Brea, California. Riti was the first Indian-American woman to win this title. She also owns an oil company.
  • Deborah Valis-Flynn from South Carolina was crowned Ms. International 2016. Her win happened on August 29, 2015, in Brea, California.
  • Nova Kopp from Georgia became Ms. International 2017. She won on September 3, 2016, in Brea, California. Nova was the first Ms. International to win $12,000 in cash. She gave all of this money to charity. Nova is also an advocate for domestic violence awareness. She has volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Ireland.
  • Jolyn Farber represented New York and was crowned Ms. International 2018. She won on March 10, 2018, aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Jolyn also won the People's Choice Internet Voting award. She received $12,218.90 from this award.
