Mysterton is a small suburb located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. It's part of the City of Townsville. In 2021, about 793 people lived there, making it one of Townsville's smaller suburbs.

A Glimpse into Mysterton's Past

Mysterton got its name from a house owned by Arminius Danner. This house was located in an area called St. Johns Wood Estate back in the 1880s. Later, in the 1920s, when the land was divided up again, the area became known as Mysterton Estate.
