Mysterton is mostly a place where people live. It is surrounded by other suburbs like Hermit Park, Mundingburra, Pimlico, and Hyde Park.
A main road called Townsville Connection Road (also known as Charters Towers Road) runs along the eastern side of Mysterton.
A Glimpse into Mysterton's Past
Mysterton got its name from a house owned by Arminius Danner. This house was located in an area called St. Johns Wood Estate back in the 1880s. Later, in the 1920s, when the land was divided up again, the area became known as Mysterton Estate.
