About Natalie's Orchid Island Juice
How the Company Started
Natalie's Orchid Island Juice Company began in 1989. A woman named Marygrace Sexton started it. Her husband came from a family that had been growing citrus fruits in Florida for four generations. Their family farm was located along the beautiful Indian River.
Marygrace and her husband had a new idea. Instead of just packing the fruits, they wanted to make fresh juice. So, they changed their family business to focus on squeezing juice. In November 1990, they got their first big deal. A company called Carnival Fruit in Miami agreed to sell their juices.
Growing and Succeeding
The company grew very quickly. Marygrace asked her own family, the Martinellis, for help. Together, they turned the small juice business into a large juice factory. This factory is still in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Today, Natalie's juices are very popular. You can find them in 30 different states across the United States. They are also sold in 24 countries around the world. The company has won the "America's Best Tasting Fresh Florida Juice Award" ten times! This shows how much people love their juices. Natalie's is also certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. This means it is recognized as a business owned and run by women.
