Nemanja Gudelj (Serbian Cyrillic: Немања Гудељ) is a professional footballer from Serbia. He was born on November 16, 1991. Nemanja plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back. He currently plays for La Liga team Sevilla and the Serbia national team.

Nemanja Gudelj's Club Career
Playing for NAC Breda
Nemanja Gudelj started his professional football journey with NAC Breda in July 2009. Even though he signed his first contract, he did not play in any official games during his first season. He was often on the bench, ready to play if needed.
Time at AZ Alkmaar
In the summer of 2013, Gudelj moved to AZ Alkmaar. He signed a four-year contract with the club. AZ paid about €3 million to get him from NAC Breda. During his time at AZ, some big clubs like Porto from Portugal showed interest in him.
Joining AFC Ajax
On May 6, 2015, it was announced that Gudelj would join AFC Ajax for the 2015–16 season. His younger brother, Dragiša, also moved to the Ajax youth team. Their father, Nebojša, became a scout for Ajax, looking for new players from the Balkans and Serbia. However, on November 5, 2016, Nemanja was removed from the first team. He had said he found it hard to stay motivated when he wasn't playing regularly.
Moving to Tianjin TEDA
On January 5, 2017, Ajax announced that Gudelj would transfer to Tianjin TEDA in China. The move happened on January 25, 2017. Reports suggested the transfer fee was around €5.5 million.
Playing for Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao
On January 28, 2018, Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao announced they had signed Gudelj. He joined them from Tianjin TEDA on a two-year contract. He played his first game for Guangzhou on February 21, 2018. It was a 0–0 draw against Cerezo Osaka in the 2018 AFC Champions League. On March 14, he scored his first goal for the club. This goal helped Guangzhou Evergrande win 2–0 against Jeju United in the AFC Champions League. In July 2018, Gudelj was not included in the first team squad. This was because of rules about how many foreign players a team could have.
Loan to Sporting CP
On August 23, 2018, Gudelj was loaned to Primeira Liga team Sporting CP in Portugal. He played for them during the 2018–19 season.
Joining Sevilla FC
On July 23, 2019, Gudelj signed with the Spanish club Sevilla FC. In July 2020, he tested positive for COVID-19. He has continued to be a key player for Sevilla.
Nemanja Gudelj's International Career
Nemanja Gudelj played for Serbia's national teams at different age levels, including the U19 and U21 teams. He made his debut for the senior national team on March 5, 2014. This was in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland. Serbia won the game 2–1. He scored his first goal for Serbia on November 18, 2014. It was in a friendly match against Greece, which Serbia won 2–0.
In November 2022, Gudelj was chosen to be part of Serbia's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He played in group stage matches against Brazil and Switzerland. Serbia finished fourth in their group.
Gudelj also played for Serbia in UEFA Euro 2024. He started the first match against England. He played the first half of that game. He also played in a group stage match against Denmark. Serbia finished fourth in their group at this tournament as well.

Nemanja Gudelj comes from a football family. His father, Nebojša Gudelj, was also a professional football player. Nemanja also has a younger brother named Dragiša Gudelj, who is also a footballer.
In August 2023, Nemanja Gudelj married his girlfriend, Anastasija Ražnatović.
