Nestlé Milk Chocolate was a popular chocolate bar made by the company Nestlé. This sweet treat was sold in many countries across the globe. It was made of smooth milk chocolate.

The original recipe for this chocolate bar was created by Henri Nestlé. He was the founder of the Nestlé company. He invented the formula way back in 1875. The Nestlé Milk Chocolate bar was discontinued in 2016.

The Story Behind the Chocolate

Nestlé Milk Chocolate was made to compete with other well-known chocolate bars. One of its main competitors was the Hershey bar in North America. The Nestlé bar even looked similar to its rival.

Comparing Nestlé Chocolates

Nestlé makes several different kinds of chocolate. The Nestlé Crunch bar is quite similar to the old Nestlé Milk Chocolate. The main difference is that Nestlé Crunch has crispy puffed rice inside. The Nestlé Milk Chocolate bar did not have these crunchy bits.

Another chocolate bar made by Nestlé is the Yorkie. It is important not to confuse Yorkie with Nestlé Milk Chocolate. The Yorkie bar is a completely different product. It was first created by a British company called Rowntree of York. They made it to compete with another famous chocolate, Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Nestlé is a very large company. They produce many other types of chocolate and syrup products.

Where to Find It (Before 2016)

When Nestlé Milk Chocolate bars were still available, they came in a few sizes. You could buy them as 1.45-ounce (41.1-gram) bars. They were also sold in larger boxes containing 24 bars.
