New Diggings is a small town in Lafayette County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 502 people lived there. This was a small increase from 473 people in 2000.
The town includes a few smaller places. These are the communities of Etna, Lead Mine, and New Diggings itself.

Where is New Diggings?
New Diggings is located in the southwestern part of Lafayette County. To the south, it shares a border with Jo Daviess County in Illinois.
The town covers about 65.5 square kilometers (about 25.3 square miles) of land. There is no water area within the town limits. The Galena River flows through the town. This river goes south and crosses the western border of the town several times before entering Illinois.
