Ney Island is a small, uninhabited island in Nunavut, Canada. It is part of the Belcher Islands group, which is located in the huge Hudson Bay. When we say an island is "uninhabited," it means that no people live there permanently.
Where is Ney Island?
Ney Island is found in the northern part of the Kipalu Inlet. This inlet is like a long, narrow arm of the sea that reaches into Flaherty Island. Flaherty Island is the biggest island in the Belcher group. Ney Island sits between two land areas: the Mukpollo Peninsula to its east and the Gibson Peninsula to its west.
