Ninet Tayeb (born October 21, 1983), known simply as Ninet, is a famous Israeli musician, singer, and actress. She also writes songs, composes music, and works as a DJ. Ninet has even been a judge on the TV show Rising Star: Israel. Many people see her as one of the most important stars in Israel's entertainment world.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Ninet was born and grew up in Kiryat Gat, Israel. Her parents came to Israel from Tunisia and Morocco. She is the third of five children and was called "Nina" by her family. Before her music career, Ninet served as a soldier in the Combat Engineering Corps of the Israel Defense Forces.

Ninet was always around music as she grew up. She performed at small events when she was a teenager. Some of her biggest music influences were bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Oasis.

On November 17, 2009, Ninet released her second album, Communicative. She wrote all the lyrics for this album herself. This album marked a big change in her music style and public image. Her third album, "Sympathetic Nervous System" (SNS), came out on May 30, 2012. Ninet wrote all the songs in English for this album. It was recorded in Liverpool, England. SNS helped Ninet become known as an indie-rock singer-songwriter. She also started performing as a DJ at events and festivals.

In 2013, Ninet released her fourth album, "All the Animals Knew". This time, she went back to writing songs in Hebrew. She wrote and composed almost all the songs on this album.
