Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Ninet Tayeb grew up in Kiryat Gat, Israel. Her parents came to Israel from Tunisia and Morocco. She is the third of five children and her family called her "Nina" when she was very young. Ninet also served as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces.

On November 17, 2009, Ninet released her second album, Communicative. She wrote all the lyrics and most of the music herself. She also produced the album with the band Rockfour.

On May 3, 2013, Ninet released her fourth album, All the Animals Knew. After her English album, she returned to writing songs in Hebrew for this one. She wrote and composed almost all the songs, with two exceptions by Israeli poet Dori Manor. The album was produced by Joseph "Yossi" E-Shine Mizrachi (who later became her husband) and Idan Rabinovici.
Paper Parachute Album
In 2015, Ninet released the singles "Paper Parachute" and "Child." In 2016, she released "Superstar" and "Subservient." She moved from Israel to Los Angeles, USA, in July 2016, where she performed more often. Her fifth album, Paper Parachute, was released on February 3, 2017.
Other Songs
In June 2015, Ninet released a Hebrew song called "What Happened." She created the song, and her husband produced it. The song talks about important social issues. On January 9, 2018, she released a new Hebrew music video for her song "Hero," which she wrote with Israeli artist Dudu Tassa. In November 2018, she released her single "Self Destructive Mind."
In December 2018, Ninet performed with other Israeli artists in a show called Pop Up Music in Tel Aviv. This was part of the annual Hanukkah celebrations.

- Steven Wilson: Ninet sang on several of Steven Wilson's albums, including Hand. Cannot. Erase. (2015) and To the Bone (2017). Wilson has called her "inspiring" and a "fantastic singer." In 2014, Ninet married Israeli music producer and guitarist Joseph "Yossi" E-Shine Mizrachi in Tel Aviv. Their first daughter, Emilia Sarah Mizrachi, was born in 2015. In 2016, they moved to Los Angeles. Their second daughter, Luna Rachel, was born in 2021.
