Music Career
Starting Out (2011–2016)
Noga Erez started her music journey in an indie-folk band called The Secret Sea. After that, she explored jazz music. In 2011, she almost finished a jazz album but decided to change direction. She then started writing and producing electronic music instead.
After her military service in 2011, Noga was a backup singer for Dana International. This was for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 where they performed the song "Ding Dong".
When Noga performs live, she is part of a three-person band. She sings, Ori Rousso plays the sampler and synthesizer, and Ran Jacobovitz plays electronic drums.
First Album: Off the Radar (2017–2020)
Noga Erez released her first album, Off the Radar, in 2017. She produced this album with her partner, Ori Rousso.
Her first song from the album, "Toy", received great reviews. The New York Times described it as a "sparse, thorny, unstable track — and haunting, too."
After the album came out, Noga performed at many music festivals. These included Primavera, SXSW, and Pitchfork Paris. She also toured in the UK and Europe in 2017.
In 2019, Noga released a song called "Chin Chin" with rapper Echo. The famous singer Billie Eilish even praised this song on her podcast.
