The North Fork Alsea River is a beautiful stream in Oregon, USA. It flows for about 16 miles (26 kilometers). This river is a branch of the larger Alsea River. It starts at Klickitat Lake in the Central Oregon Coast Range. The river then flows south, joining the South Fork Alsea River near the town of Alsea. Together, they form the main Alsea River. Much of the North Fork flows through the Siuslaw National Forest. It passes through Lincoln and Benton counties.

Fishing and Fish Hatchery

The North Fork Alsea River is a great place for fishing. The Alsea Hatchery was built in 1936 by the state. It helps raise fish like winter steelhead and other rainbow trout. These fish are then released into the river.

The river is known for its "hatchery winter steelhead." It also has wild cutthroat trout. You can enjoy fly fishing here. However, fishing for salmon is not allowed. Also, you cannot fish from a boat or any floating device.

Clemens Park

Clemens Park is a fun place located along the North Fork Alsea River. It is a park in Benton County, covering about 38 acres (15 hectares). The park is near the town of Alsea, right by Oregon Route 34.

At Clemens Park, you can find picnic tables and restrooms. There is also a nature trail where you can learn about the local plants and animals. It's a nice spot for fishing and playing in the water.
