Northside Christian Academy is a private Christian school located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It teaches students from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. The school first opened in 1961. It is connected to the Northside Baptist Church.
Northside Christian Academy is officially recognized by several groups. These include the Association of Christian Schools International and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's mascot is the Knight, and its sports teams are also called the Knights.

School History and Values
Northside Christian Academy started in 1961. When it first opened, it had different rules about who could attend. However, the school has changed a lot since then.
Today, Northside Christian Academy welcomes all students. It does not choose students based on their race, color, or background. Everyone is welcome to join its classes, programs, and sports teams.
Sports and Athletics at Northside
The Northside Knights are very active in sports! They compete at the state level in North Carolina. They are part of the Metrolina Athletic Conference (MAC).
Basketball Success
The boys' basketball team has won many state titles. They have earned several championships in the last five years. Their head coach is Byron Dinkins, who used to play in the NBA. The girls' basketball team is also very strong. They are coached by Ashley McGuirt, a former college player.
Track and Field Achievements
The boys' track team has also been very successful. They won the NCISAA Championship in 2004 and 2007. The girls' track team has done well too, finishing second in 2007. The track and field program is known as a strong part of the school's sports history. It has been one of the most successful teams for over 40 years.
