Notikewin is a small community called a hamlet in northern Alberta, Canada. It's located in the County of Northern Lights. You can find it along the Mackenzie Highway, which is also known as Highway 35. Notikewin is about 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) north of a town called Manning.
The name Notikewin comes from the Cree word nôtinikewin. This word means "battle." The name is also used for a nearby river, the Notikewin River.
