Nusshof is a small municipality in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Basel-Country. This quiet village is part of the Sissach district. It is known for its beautiful countryside and scattered farmhouses.

History of Nusshof
Nusshof was first mentioned a long time ago, in 1504. Back then, it was called der hof by dem Nussbom. This old name means "the farm by the walnut tree."

Nusshof covers an area of about 1.72 square kilometers (0.66 square miles). A big part of this land, over half (56.4%), is used for farming. Forests cover a large portion too, about 40.1% of the area. The rest, a small 4.7%, has buildings and roads.
