Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina (born August 15, 1990), known as Nyusha, is a famous Russian singer. She is also a songwriter, actress, and television host. Nyusha is one of the most popular musicians in Russia today. She has had eight songs reach number one in Russia. This is a record for the most number-one singles.
Nyusha's father, Vladimir Shurochkin, was a member of the band Laskovyi Mai. Nyusha started her music journey as a teenager. She competed in the New Wave 2008 contest. After that, she signed with Warner Music Russia. Her first album, Vybirat chudo, came out in 2010. This album had four number-one songs. Nyusha won the Best Russian Act award in 2011. Her second album, Obedineniye, was released in 2014. It also had four number-one songs. She won the Best Russian Act award again in 2014.

Nyusha's Early Life and Family
Nyusha was born on August 15, 1990. She grew up in a family of musicians. Her father, Vladimir Shurochkin, was a member of the music group Laskovyi Mai. Her mother, Irina Shurochkina, sang in a rock band when she was younger.
When Nyusha was 11, she started performing on stage. She was part of a group called Grizli. This group traveled and performed in Russia and Germany. When she was 17, she changed her name from Anna to Nyusha.

Starting Her Music Journey (2007–2009)
In 2008, Nyusha took seventh place in the international music contest New Wave 2008. She also wrote the final song for the main character in the Russian version of the movie Enchanted. In 2009, she released her first song, Voyu na lunu (Howl at the Moon). This song won the Song of the Year - 2009 award. At the Europa Plus Live 2009 concert, she performed new songs. These included Angel in Russian and Why? in English.
First Album and Big Success (2010–2011)
In 2010, Nyusha released her second song, Ne perebivay (Don’t Interrupt). In 2011, she released two more songs: Bolno (Hurts) and Vyshe (Higher). These were the fourth and fifth songs from her first album. The album was called Vybirat chudo (Choose A Miracle).
Continued Achievements and Growth (2012–2015)
By January 2012, the song Vyshe became very popular. It reached the top of many music charts in Russia. On April 28, Nyusha held a concert in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall. This concert was part of her first tour for her album Vybirat chudo. During the concert, she shared three new songs. Two were singles: Vospominaniye and Obedineniye. She also sang a duet with her father called You Are My Life.
In March 2013, she released the song Naedine (Alone). This was the second song from her second album.
Nyusha also started voice acting for cartoons. Her first voice role was in the cartoon Snow Queen, released in 2013. Many people liked her voice acting skills. In 2014, Nyusha voiced characters in The Snow Queen 2: Refreeze.
In December 2023, Nyusha performed a song called Bagt nury in the Turkmen language. This was at a concert in Winter Sports Complex Ashgabat. During the concert, she received the honorary title "Honored Artist of Turkmenistan".

Nyusha's Personal Life
In 2017, Nyusha married Igor Sivov in the Maldives. She became a stepmother to his two children. In 2018, Nyusha and Igor had a daughter named Simba (Seraphima). In July 2021, Nyusha shared that she was expecting another baby. Their son, Saffron, was born on December 14, 2021.
In March 2022, Nyusha's family moved to Dubai in the UAE. In 2024, she and Igor Sivov divorced.
