Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina (born 15 August 1990) is a famous Russian singer and songwriter. She is better known by her stage name, Nyusha. She is one of the most popular musicians in Russia today. Nyusha holds a record for having the most number-one songs in Russia. She has released eight songs that reached the top spot.
Nyusha's father, Vladimir Shurochkin, was a member of the band Laskovyi Mai. Nyusha started her music career when she was a teenager. She took part in the New Wave 2008 competition and finished seventh. After that, she signed with Warner Music Russia. Her first album, Vybirat chudo, came out in 2010. This album had four number-one songs in Russia. Nyusha also won the Best Russian Act award in 2011. Her second album, Obedineniye, was released in 2014. It also had four number-one songs. She won the Best Russian Act award again in 2014.

About Nyusha's Early Life
Nyusha was born on August 15, 1990, in Moscow. She grew up in a family of musicians. Her father, Vladimir Shurochkin, was a member of a famous music group called Laskovyi Mai. Her mother, Irina Shurochkina, used to sing in a rock band when she was younger.
When Nyusha was 11 years old, she started performing on stage. She was part of a group called Grizli. This group traveled and performed in Russia and Germany. When she was 17, she officially changed her name from Anna to Nyusha.
Nyusha's Music Career
Starting Her Career (2007–2009)
In 2008, Nyusha competed in an international music contest called New Wave 2008. She finished in seventh place. She also wrote the final song for the Russian version of the movie Enchanted. In 2009, she released her first song, Voyu na lunu (Howl at the Moon). This song was named "Song of the Year" in 2009. She also performed new songs, Angel (in Russian) and Why? (in English), at a concert called Europa Plus Live 2009.
First Album and Big Success (2010–2011)
In 2010, Nyusha released her second song, Ne perebivay (Do Not Interrupt). In 2011, she released two more songs: Bolno (It Hurts) and Vyshe (Higher). These songs were part of her first album, Vybirat chudo (Choose Your Miracle).
More Hits and Growth (2012–2015)
In January 2012, her song Vyshe became very popular. It reached the top of many music charts in Russia. On April 28, she held a big concert in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall. This concert was part of her first tour to promote her album Vybirat chudo. During the show, she performed three new songs. Two were singles: Vospominaniye (Memories) and Obedineniye (Union). She also sang a duet with her father called You are my life.
In March 2013, she released the song Naedine (Alone). This was the second song from her second album. Nyusha also started voice acting for cartoons. She voiced a character in the cartoon Snow Queen in 2013. Many people liked her voice acting skills. In 2014, she voiced a character again in The Snow Queen 2: Refreeze.
In December 2023, Nyusha sang a song called Bagt nury in the Turkmen language. This was at a concert in Winter Sports Complex Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. During this event, she was given the special title "Honored Artist of Turkmenistan".

Nyusha has also appeared on TV. She was a contestant in the fourth season of a popular ice skating show called Ice Age.
Nyusha's Personal Life
In 2017, Nyusha got married to Igor Sivov in the Maldives. She became a stepmother to his two children from a previous marriage. Nyusha and Igor had a daughter in 2018. Her name is Simba, also known as Seraphima. In July 2021, Nyusha announced she was expecting another baby. Their son, Saffron, was born on December 14, 2021.
In March 2022, Nyusha and her family moved to Dubai in the UAE. In 2024, she and Igor Sivov divorced.
