Ocean Pointe is a planned community and a special area called a census-designated place (CDP). It is located in the ʻEwa District of Honolulu County on the island of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi. It is about 15 miles (24 km) from Honolulu.

In 2010, about 8,361 people lived here. By 2020, the population grew to 14,965. This area was once known simply as ʻEwa. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, ʻEwa was a big center on Oʻahu. Today, sugar cane is no longer grown on the ʻEwa Plain. Ocean Pointe is now part of Oʻahu's new suburban area. This area stretches south to ʻEwa Beach, north to Honouliuli, and west to Kalaeloa and Kapolei. People often call this region Oʻahu's "Second City." Its main downtown area is in Kapolei.
