Oden is a small town located in Montgomery County, Arkansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 180 people lived there. It's a quiet place in a beautiful part of Arkansas.
Geography of Oden
Arkansas Highway 88, also known as Broadway Avenue, is the main road that goes through Oden. This road connects Oden to other nearby places. If you travel east for about 2.5 miles, you will reach Pencil Bluff. Going west for about 28 miles will take you to Mena.
Mount Ida is another important town nearby. It is the main town, or county seat, of Montgomery County. This means it's where the county government offices are located. Mount Ida is about 11 miles southeast of Oden. You can get there by taking AR 88 and then US 270.
Oden covers a total area of about 0.84 square miles. Most of this area is land, with only a small part, about 0.02 square miles, being water. The Ouachita River flows past the southern edge of the town.
