Olcott is a small community, often called Olcott Beach, in Niagara County, New York. It is part of the Town of Newfane. In 2020, about 1,072 people lived there. Olcott is located near the cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
Olcott is a community right by Lake Ontario. It has the deepest harbor on Lake Ontario west of Rochester. The community is where two main roads, NYS Route 18 and NYS Route 78, meet.

Olcott is located at 43°20′10″N 78°43′03″W / 43.336162°N 78.717506°W. It sits on the south shore of Lake Ontario. This is where a stream called Eighteen Mile Creek flows into the lake.
Parks and Recreation
Krull Park is in the northeast part of Olcott. It is the biggest park run by Niagara County. It's a great place for outdoor activities.
Olcott-Newfane Airport
The Olcott-Newfane Airport (D80) is located south of the community. It is currently closed for most planes, but very light aircraft called "ultralights" can still use it.
