Old Beach is a small community in Tasmania, Australia. It's a mix of homes and rural areas. This place is part of the Brighton local government area. Old Beach is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) south of the town of Brighton. In 2016, about 3,779 people lived here.
Old Beach is surrounded by green mountains. It's also close to the Baskerville Raceway, a place where car races happen. There's an old quarry in Old Beach. A quarry is a large pit where stone or other materials are dug out of the ground. This one was used in the late 1980s to mine sandstone.
