History of Olmitz
Olmitz was first planned out in 1885. It got its name from a city called Olomouc (pronounced Oh-loh-moots) in what used to be Austria-Hungary. Today, Olomouc is part of the Czech Republic. Many of the first people who settled in Olmitz were from Austria.
