Ostrander (pronounced ohst-RAND-er) is a small city located in Fillmore County, Minnesota, in the United States. In 2010, about 254 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 231.

History of Ostrander

Ostrander was officially mapped out and planned in 1890. This process is called "platting." A post office opened in Ostrander in 1891, helping people send and receive mail. The city was named after two people, William and Charles Ostrander.
